Objective
This article explains how to create a project in PSOhub by searching for a HubSpot deal from within PSOhub. When you create a project this way, PSOhub automatically pulls the deal name, description, currency, and deal amount across from HubSpot, saving you time and keeping your data consistent.
Prerequisites
You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager access in PSOhub. Your HubSpot account must be connected to PSOhub. The deal you want to work with must already exist in HubSpot.Steps
- Navigate to Projects in the main menu and select Projects.
- In the Projects overview, click Create.
- In the window that appears, click the HubSpot tile.
- In the search field that appears, enter the name of the deal — you can type the first few characters — and click Search.
- Select the deal you want to create a project from.
📌 Note: A three-step setup window will open. Complete each step in sequence before proceeding to the next.
6. Step 1: Identify the project - Review and complete the project identification fields. Click Next when done.
7. Step 2: Set up the contract - Select a contract template for this project - Click Next.
8. Step 3: Add the team - You can skip this step and add members later.
9. Click Create.Result
Your project is created and you are taken directly into the project view. PSOhub automatically populates the project with the deal name, description, currency, and deal amount from HubSpot. A link back to the original HubSpot deal is visible in the left panel.
📌 Note: The right-hand panel displays the company and contacts associated with the HubSpot deal. PSOhub also imports all contacts in HubSpot related to that company.
Troubleshooting
The HubSpot tile is not visible when I click Create.
Your HubSpot integration may not be connected or may need to be re-authorized. Go to Settings > Integrations > HubSpot and check the connection status.
My deal does not appear in the search results.
Check that the deal exists in HubSpot and that its name matches what you are searching for. Try searching with fewer characters. If the deal was created recently, allow a few minutes for the sync to complete.
The currency on the project is incorrect.
The project currency is inherited directly from the HubSpot deal. If the currency is wrong, update it on the deal in HubSpot first, then create the project again.

Can I change the project name after creation?
Yes. Click Edit at the bottom of the left panel in the project view to update the project name and other details at any time.
What happens to the HubSpot deal after the project is created?
The deal remains in HubSpot and is linked to the project. A direct link to the deal is displayed in the left panel of the project in PSOhub.
Can I add team members after the project is created?
Yes. You can skip the team step during setup and add resources later from within the project.
