This article explains how to create a Dynamics 365 quote in PSOhub using the Quick Setup wizard, and how to configure the quote details before moving to preview and publish.

Steps
Create the quote
- In PSOhub, click Quotes in the main navigation menu.
- Click Create.
- In the CRM or PSOhub window, click Dynamics 365.
- In the Search window, enter the name of the opportunity and click Search.
- Select the opportunity from the search results.
- Work through the Quick Setup process
- Complete Step 1: Identification.
- Step 2: Set up contract
- Step 3: Add team
💡 Tip: If team members are not yet confirmed at this stage, skip this step and click Create. You can add them later from the Team tab.
10. Click Create.
Result
The quote is created and opens automatically, displaying the basic quote information and the selected contract template. You can start working on the budget, then preview and publish the quote.
Troubleshooting
The Dynamics 365 tile is not visible in the CRM or PSOhub window.
Verify that your Dynamics 365 integration is active under Settings > Integrations. If the integration is not connected, contact your PSOhub Administrator.
The opportunity does not appear in search results.
Confirm the opportunity exists in Dynamics 365 and that the integration sync has completed. Try searching with fewer characters or check for spelling differences between PSOhub and Dynamics 365.
The sales rep field shows no results.
The sales rep must be a user in PSOhub. Ask your Administrator to add the relevant user before creating the quote.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change the contract template after the quote is created?
No. The contract template is selected during Quick Setup and cannot be changed after the quote is created. To use a different template, delete the quote and create a new one.
Can I set up installments or retainers at the quote stage?
Yes. You can configure installments, retainers, and dates at the quote level from the Contract tab.
What happens to the opportunity in Dynamics 365 when the quote is created?
The quote is linked to the opportunity. The opportunity stage in Dynamics 365 may update depending on how your integration is configured.
