Objective
Understand what your customer sees when they open a PSOhub quote link, how the proposal is structured on their end, and what actions they can take to accept or decline it.
Introduction
When publishing a quote as a link, a shareable link is generated for the customer. You copy that link and send it to your customer yourself — for example, by pasting it into an email in Outlook or sharing it via your CRM. PSOhub does not send the quote directly to your customer.
When your customer opens the link, they see a clean, structured quote page in their browser. No login or account is required. From this page, they can review the full proposal and choose to sign or decline it.
This article explains the user experience when the customer opens the shareable link for their quote.
What the quote page contains
Your customer sees the quote laid out as a structured proposal. The exact content depends on what you included when building the quote in PSOhub.
Quote header and terms
At the top of the page, your customer sees the key details of the proposal:
- The project name and quote number (e.g. QUO-2025-77)
- The company name and address
- The contact person, email address, and any PO reference
- The quote date and expiration date
- The name of the person who created the quote
Below the header, any terms or conditions you added to the quote are displayed. Your customer reads these before signing.
Scope and pricing
The contract groups and lines are listed with their type, description, and value. Your customer sees the services, deliverables, discounts, and totals exactly as you structured them — in either Summary or Detailed format, depending on your quote settings.
Appendix - Teams and Rates (if included)
If you added team members and billing rates to the quote, your customer sees a table listing each team member's role and hourly rate.
Appendix - Plan and Timeline (if included)
If you added a task board to the quote, your customer sees a summary of the planned tasks with their due dates and assigned team members.
A Click here to show the full plan link expands the complete task list.
If you also included a Gantt chart, the timeline is displayed below the plan, showing task names, start and end dates, durations, and dependencies across a calendar view.
Appendix - Budget planning (if included)
If budget planning details were included, your customer sees a breakdown of the estimated hours per role and the corresponding selling rate, grouped by contract line.
Files (if included)
Any files attached to the quote are accessible to your customer at the bottom of the page.
How the customer signs the quote
When your customer is ready to accept the proposal, they click Sign at the top of the quote page.
They are prompted to confirm their name — which is pre-populated from the quote contact — and to enter their role. A drawn signature is required to finalize the acceptance. Once they click Sign, the quote is accepted.
After signing, your customer can save the quote as a PDF for their records. You receive a notification that the quote has been signed, and PSOhub automatically creates a project from the quote content.
📌 Note: Once a quote is signed, PSOhub automatically creates a project. You will be notified of both the signing and the project creation.
How the customer declines the quote
If your customer does not wish to proceed, they click Decline at the top of the quote page.
They are prompted to enter a reason for declining. Once submitted, the quote is marked as declined and you are notified based on your Notification settings.
Quote status after signing or declining
Once your customer has taken action, the quote stage in PSOhub updates automatically:
- Signed — a project is created from the quote content and the engagement moves into delivery
- Declined — the quote is closed and you are notified so your team can follow up
In both cases, the quote record in PSOhub retains the full history of the proposal, including who signed or declined and when.
