Objectives
This article explains how to use the timesheet calendar in PSOhub to assign a project to an unassigned time entry and confirm a suggested time entry, so your hours are correctly booked and counted toward your weekly total.
Prerequisites
Your timesheet calendar must be connected to Outlook or Google Calendar
At least one active project must exist in PSOhub that you are a member of.
Assign a Project to an Unassigned Time Entry
An unassigned time entry means PSOhub retrieved the appointment from your calendar but could not match it to a project. The hours are not counted until you assign it. Unassigned time entries will appear as gray time entries.
Steps
- Click the unassigned time entry in the Calendar view.
- Review the Date & time and Number of hours fields and update if needed.
- Select a Time classification from the dropdown. Select Absence or Holiday if the time relates to leave, then click Save — no further fields are required.
- If you selected Project, complete the Customer, Project, Line ID, Task, Role, and Description fields.
- Click Save.
💡 Tip: The Task field is optional. You only need to complete it if you want to log time against a specific task on the contract line.
📌 Note: The Role you select determines the selling rate and cost rate applied to the time entry. Make sure you select the correct role before saving.
Confirm a Suggested Time Entry
A suggested time entry means PSOhub retrieved the appointment and has proposed a project match. The hours are not counted until you confirm the suggestion. Suggested time entries appear as light green in the Timesheet Calendar.
Steps
- Click the suggested time entry in the Calendar view.
- Review the project, contract line, role, and description that PSOhub has pre-filled.
- Make any changes needed. If the suggested assignment is correct, leave the fields as they are.
- Click Save.
💡 Tip: You can also adjust a time entry directly in the calendar without opening it. Drag and drop it to move it to a different day, or hover over it and use the up and down arrows to change the duration.
Result
Your hours are now counted in the relevant projects and toward your weekly total. Every assignment and confirmation you make helps PSOhub learn your preferences, so over time more of your time entries are matched and booked automatically.
