How to Delete an Absence in PSOhub

Objective

This article explains how to delete an existing absence event from My Scheduler in PSOhub.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites

✅ You must have an active PSOhub user account.

✅ An absence event must already exist in your My Scheduler. 

Steps

  1. Navigate to Time & Expenses in the top menu and select My Scheduler.
  2. Locate the event you want to delete in the calendar.
  3. Double-click the event to open it.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. A confirmation message appears. Click Proceed.

Result

The event is removed from your My Scheduler calendar.

🚨 Warning: Deleting an event from My Scheduler does not remove it from your Outlook            or Google Calendar. You must delete it from your external calendar                                                  separately.

Troubleshooting

I deleted the event in My Scheduler but it still appears in my Outlook or Google Calendar.
This is expected. Deleting an event in PSOhub does not sync the deletion to external calendars. Open your Outlook or Google Calendar and delete the event there manually.

I accidentally deleted an absence. Can I recover it?
Deleted events cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new absence event. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my project manager be notified when I delete an absence?
No. Deleting an absence in My Scheduler does not trigger a notification. If your project manager needs to know, inform them directly.

Does deleting a Project event cancel the calendar invite sent to attendees?
No. Deleting the event in PSOhub does not send a cancellation to external calendars. Attendees will need to remove the invite from their calendar manually.
