Objective

This article explains how to access and use the Grid view for tasks in PSOhub, including how to edit tasks inline, customize the column layout, apply filters, and export to Excel.

Prerequisites

Configure access for team members
A team member can only access the full Grid view in a project if Access All Tasks in                   Assigned Projects is toggled on in their General tab in Settings > User Management.

*Guest invited
A guest must be invited to view the project Tasks in order to see the Grid view.

How to Access the Grid View

Steps

📌 Note: The Grid view is available within the Tasks tab of a project, All Tasks and My                   Tasks.

  1. Open the project Tasks tab in PSOhub or go to Tasks > All Tasks or Tasks > My Tasks to access the Grid view.
  2. Click Grid. The Grid view opens, displaying all tasks in a spreadsheet-style layout with each task as a row and each field as a column.

Understand the Grid Layout

The Grid view has five totals at the top:

  • Tasks— displays the total number of tasks.
  • Effort — shows the total effort (hours) estimated across all tasks.
  • Used — shows the total effort (hours) used across tasks.
  • Outstanding — the number of tasks yet to be completed.
  • Overdue - the number of tasks that are currently overdue.

⚠️ Important: Click the Calculate button on the Grid view to update these totals in real                 time.

How to Edit Tasks in the Grid View

Steps

📌 Note: Most fields are editable directly in the Grid view at the project level. In All Tasks            and My Tasks, you may have to open the individual tasks to edit them more often.

  1. Simply click on the field within the task to edit the task directly in the Grid view.
  2. You can also click on the task to open its individual properties and edit that way.
  3. Changes are saved automatically as you make them.

How to Customize the Grid View

Steps

📌 Note: You can control which columns are shown, their order, and their width.                                Customizations are saved to your personal view and don't affect what other users see.

  1. To add or remove columns, click on the column selector (eye icon) to the far right and select the columns to include.
  2. To reorder columns, drag column headers left or right to change their position.
  3. To resize columns, hover between column headers and drag left or right to adjust the width.

How to Filter Tasks in the Grid View

Steps

💡 Tip: Use column filters to quickly find the tasks you need. Filters are user-specific and               remain in place when you return to the plan.

  1. Click the text box at the top of any column to apply a filter. You can filter by any visible field, including:

  • Status — show only completed or in-progress tasks.
  • Assigned to — view tasks assigned to yourself or another resource.
  • Task list — focus on a specific task list, phase, or workstream.
  • Priority — filter for high-priority items.
  • Start and Due dates — find tasks starting or due by a specific date.

How to Export Your Grid to Excel

Steps

  1. Click Export to Excel in the top-right corner.
  2. The tasks Grid is downloaded in Excel format to your device.

⚠️ Important: You must have a current Microsoft Office license to make changes to your             tasks in Excel; otherwise, the download will be read-only.

Result

The Grid view gives you direct, inline control over task details across your full project plan. You can also access the Grid view in My Tasks and All Tasks. Changes are saved automatically, column layouts are personalized, and filters persist between sessions, making it faster to manage tasks without opening each one individually.
