Objective

This article explains how to see your team against its billable target with Claude or ChatGPT. You see who is working above capacity, who is well below target, and who to talk to about workload.

Prerequisites

The MCP connector is active on your organization.
An Admin has enabled the MCP connector for your organization.

Your AI assistant is connected.
Your AI assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) should be connected to PSOhub.
See How to Connect Claude to PSOhub or How to Connect ChatGPT to PSOhub.

Steps

  1. Copy the prompt exactly as written:
How is my team [team] doing against target over [period], and what do the next [3] months look like?

Per person: billable hours against their own target, total hours against capacity, what their non-billable time went to, and how much of their time went to one customer.

Flag two groups, both as problems: people above capacity for weeks in a row, and people well below target, in hours. Add anyone carrying most of the hours on a project nobody else could take over.

End with the three people to talk to, and about what: workload and work mix, not performance.

Show this as a dashboard: a header with the scope and date, a one-line verdict with three to five key figures, the findings ranked worst first with the reason and the amount, a table with the rest, what this answer could not see, and three actions with an owner. Use a single HTML page if you can show one, otherwise the same blocks as formatted text. Link every project, customer, person and invoice to PSOhub.

  2. Replace [team] with the name of your team and [period] with the period to look at.
  3. Optional: change [3] to any number of months.
  4. Paste the prompt into Claude or ChatGPT and send it.

Result

You get a dashboard with each person's billable hours against their own target and their hours against capacity, and who is structurally over or under. It ends with the three people to talk to about workload and work mix.

💡 Tip: Ask a follow-up question, for example:

  • Show the trend over the last twelve months.
  • Who has been above capacity for more than two months?
  • Which projects depend on one person?
