Objective
Understand the layout of the Timesheet Grid in PSOhub, including what each section displays, which actions are available, and how to switch between views.
Introduction
The Timesheet Grid in PSOhub is a structured, list-based workspace for logging and reviewing time entries across the working week. It displays your total hours, utilization, and individual time entries in a single scrollable view.
Understanding the Timesheet Grid layout helps you log time accurately, review your weekly progress at a glance, and manage entries efficiently — whether you prefer the grid view or want to switch to the Calendar view.
Accessing the Timesheet Grid
Navigate to the Time & Expenses menu and select My Timesheet.
The Timesheet Grid is the default view when you open the timesheet, but in the top-right corner select Grid, if the Timesheet Calendar is showing.

See your weekly progress at a glance
The top-left area of the Timesheet Grid shows two indicators for the current week.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Hours | Hours logged this week versus your weekly target (e.g. 12.00 / 40.00). The weekly target is defined at user level in User Management. |
| Utilization | The percentage of billable hours logged this week. Calculated as time booked on external projects divided by your weekly hour target. Internal projects, vacation, and absence are excluded. |
Move between weeks
The center of the header shows the current week number and date range.
Use the left and right arrows to navigate to previous or future weeks and review or update time entries.
Use the toolbar actions
The top-right area gives you direct access to the main timesheet controls.
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Retrieve planning | Pulls all planned hours from the resource planning of active projects into the grid. Use this to pre-populate your timesheet based on what has been scheduled for you. |
| Copy previous week | Copies the contract lines and roles from your previous week's time entries into the current week. Hours and descriptions are not copied. |
| Add new line | Creates a new time entry. You can book time against a project, absence, holiday, or internal project. |
💡 Tip: Time entries are saved automatically using Auto-save. You do not need to manually save after adding or editing an entry.
Switch between workweek and full week
By default, the Timesheet Grid displays Monday to Friday. You can expand the view to include weekends.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Work Week | Displays Monday to Friday only. This is the default view. |
| Week | Expands the view to include Saturday and Sunday, allowing time to be logged on weekends. |
Group time entry lines by project
The Classic / Grouped toggle in the toolbar lets you change how time entries are displayed.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Classic | The Classic view lists each time entry as a separate row in the order it was added to the grid. |
| Grouped | The Grouped view organizes time entries by project. Click the + button next to a project to expand it and see the individual entries beneath it. |
💡 Tip: The Grouped view is recommended if you work across multiple projects or contract lines. It makes it easier to see your total time per project at a glance.
Remove an entire project or time entry line
Click the trash icon at the end of the row to remove a project or contract line from the grid.
⚠️ Important: The bin icon only works if no hours have been logged on that row. If time entries exist, you must first delete them.
Remove individual time entries
To remove a specific time entry, set the hours for that entry to 0. This clears the entry without removing the row from the grid.
